About me
I’m a Berlin-based experience strategist and designer eager to help change-makers fix broken systems through disruptive ideas. Over the past 10is years I have helped start-ups and grown-ups launch 20ish ventures (mainly) in the field of education, healthcare and sustainability.
Before becoming a freelancer, I was the Director of Product at iversity, Europe’s first plattform for Massive Open Online Courses and later professional development provider, that in 2017 was sold to SpringerNature.
My work blends innovation strategy with user experience design and service design to create human-centric solutions that foster transformation at scale.
I hold an MA in Media Studies and a BA in Cultural Studies. I’m a Certified Coach (ICI), Design Thinking Team Coach, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and Disruptive Design Facilitator trained at the Unschool of Disruptive Design. At the moment, I’m training at the C.G. Jung Institute Zurich to become a Jungian Analyst.
Who I worked with
Project Examples
Solving the Mental Health Crisis
HelloBetter wants to solve the mental health crisis by providing digital therapeutics for mental health. I’ve supported them on many strategic projects over the years, from designing their patient experience and their brand identity to supporting investment activities and developing an AI strategy for a future DTx product. When I first worked with them, they were just a team of founders. Now the company has over 100 employees and is the market leader in its category.
Making Data Privacy Easy
DataGuard aims to make data privacy less painful for SMEs. I joined them in their first year to help them get their customer experience process off the ground. Since those early days in 2018, the bootstrapped legal tech company turned into a huge success growing from 30 to over 250 employees and raising more than $60 million in funding.
Holistic Support for Work and Life
voiio is a work-life platform providing digital services to companies who want to support their employees in regard to their health, private challenges, mental wellbeing and personal development. I supported voiio as a UX designer and helped them improve the employee experience of their platform.
Wildfire Protection from Space
OroraTech is a space technology start-up based in Munich, Germany, that aims to prevent wildfires using a patented satellite technology. I helped them to carry out a market analysis for Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia and Paraguay as a basis for their Latin American strategy. In early 2022, their satellite was launched by SpaceX. Today, OroraTech protects land on all six continents.
Accelerating GreenTech Start-ups
»Samsung for Impact« was an accelerator programme for early-stage impact start-ups in Germany. I supported the 2020/21 batch as a program manager and startup coach advising the participating GreenTech companies in their next development stage. A year later, one of them was acquired by Facebook. The other participats are thriving to this day.
Supporting Young Parents
How might we build a lasting relationship with young families? That was a question I tackled with the natural cosmetics company Weleda in a corporate innovation project. It resulted in a content platform on parenting including business model and content strategy. I supported the process from ideation to launch.
Empowering for Sustainable Business Innovation
How might we bring our 50,000 employees up to speed in sustainability? That was a question I tackled for a global FMCG company. Contributing to a larger change project, I was responsible for the development of a Sustainable Business Innovation Lab that would teach basic innovation skills in a hands-on way to employees worldwide.
Better Studying
How can we improve the study experience of university students? That was the question of the EdTech company charly.education. We explored different learning modes of students, prototyped various product ideas and crafted a product strategy that would inform the company how to move forward.
